28th October, a joint meeting at Alfreton with our sister churches from Chesterfield and Alfreton.  We heard a really encouraging message from Tony Ling, a Prophet and a great preacher.  You can listen to his mesage on "Two men at Bethesda"

21st October and we received a message from Cath Davies about "Greater intimacy with God", using examples we could all relate to she encouraged us to be more committed to intimacy with our amazing God. Hear it  * here *

 

Moses's cry in Numbers chapter 11 was "would that all the LORD's people were prophets, that he would put His Spirit upon them", Dan Russell preached on this text on 14th October, encouraging hearers to respond to God's desire to speak through them.  Listen * here *

 

On 7th October we were blessed to receive Charles Kudzerema who is an Apostle to many churches in Zimbabawe.  Charles shared a clear and challenging message on becoming a faithful witness of Jesus Christ, listen to it * here *

 

"Where ever I am, the Kingdom of God is"  Andrew Crosbie preached this personal and challenging message on the ongoing purpose of God in our lives on 30th September 2007, listen to it * here *

 

On 23rd September we were privileged to have a visit from Dr John Mastrogiovanni, a bible teacher and Hebrew scholar from Monrovia in Los Angeles USA, here his challenging and uplifting message, Born from Above * here *  We did have some technical difficulties (this preach was recorded on a mobile phone!) however the sound quality is still easily good enough to be blessed by this word from God to us.

After some absences and joint meetings we restart our archive with a meeting from 19th August, this was the day when Peter Topliss returned from ministering to some churches in Zimbabwe and shared about how God worked while he was over in Africa.  Listen to it * here *

 

As if to compensate for the gap in messages, we had a double header that Sunday as Heather Walker also preached from many scriptures about being holy and properly clothed priests of our Holy God.  The message is * here *

 

29th July - Joint meeting at Alfreton.  Gareth Duffty who is an Apostle to our church came and taught gently but with great authority on understanding God's ways, not just seeking His deeds.  Listen to it * here *

 

15th July - David Bunting, lead Elder from our Chesterfield sister church, came to encourage us that we are God's Dream Team, chosen and positioned by him.  Listen to it * here *

 

7th July - Peter Topliss chose Zech 3 to teach on Being a Symbol - this world needs people with "the smell of fire" on them who haven't forgotten what it's like to fail to show others the way to get truly clean.  Listen to it * here *

 

1st July - Dan Russell preached from Jesus's sign at the wedding at Cana and encouraged us to leave the water of religious observance to the new wine of life filled with the Holy Spirit.  Listen to it

24th June - Back at Clay Cross, Peter Topliss preached on what it means to be a disciple, due to technical problems we've only got  the first half hour of this message, but what there is is good.  Listen to it * here *
